This is the original (non-expansion) version of my RoN resource mod. The purpose of it was to make the rare resources worth fighting for by doubling their usefulness. The bonus effects have been balanced to make all rares equally useful. Merchants also got a stat increase to make them more robust given that the rares are more desireable. Here's the full list of what this mod does:

• adds "elite merchant"
  • pack 50% faster
  • deploy 25% faster
  • move 33% faster
  • +1 to los
  • create 25% faster
  • 33% more hp
  • groovy colors ;)
• changes to nubian nation powers and wonders
  • nubian merchant hitpoints, rare bonuses, and merchant cost nerfed by half
  • porcelain tower rare income also reduced by half
• rare resource bonuses
  • bonus effects have been increased and better balanced to make all rares worth fighting for
• resource availability
  • rare resource availability spread out between the ages to prevent huge rare war at the beginning of a game
  • oil and oil wells available in enlightenment age to prevent sudden onset of oil in upgrade costs, refineries still require industrial age
• rare resource bonus resources
  • most rares have increased production by 200%
  • some have changed bonus resource type

This one is a remix of a track from Hitman 2 that plays during the snow environment missions. It's a really surreal track with awesome percussion backing up the Hitman style. I cut it down and added small layering touches to some of the dryer parts. Jesper Kyd is the original composer. Check out his site for more tracks.

This is a screensaver that I made to fade to the desktop background upon the timeout of the Windows screensaver wait setting. Then, it will fade to black after a set time. Also has adjustable fading (which is really just a trick using WinXP's transparency effect) and mouse sensitivity. This is all in theory though, as it appears that WinXP doesn't like VB screensavers. I've tried a few workarounds but it always opens the screensaver minimized. Maybe later I will update this and finally fix it as well as add multimonitor support. The app runs fine as a regular app, though. Configuration is available by right-clicking on the scr file.

I recall watching the suckage that is this episode being made in Publications class whilst doing nothing but relaxing all period and talking about chicks and sammiches with Danky. Good times. My only contribution to this episode was the "Remembering Columbine" story. In two days, I put together what many people were calling the coolest part of the episode. Well, as cool as school shootings can be.

In my second venture into high school news editing, I started with a simple intro idea with an old and new version of a song (Mrs. Robinson, though not for any implicit reason) over black and white and then color video clips played at a high framerate. This didn't bother certain administrators as much as my Burn intro. Some of the news stuff is kinda interesting, but the interview with the principal is obviously just filler. Generally, all of this episode was edited by me (even the preview for the faggot car thing). This is actually the "Uncut" version of the episode, as of course, they didn't let us use the "Computer Upgrade" segment. That was done in my back yard with Danky and Loogie "upgrading" and me filming. This one is compressed with Quicktime because that's the only decent format we could get the gayMac to export to.

This was a neat tool that generated pages for Kazaa file links. It's rather obsolete now, but it could perhaps be useful in other ways. The source is available for newbie VB programmers to look at. It's not my best work, but there's still some useful parsing, command-line, and html output code. In this release, I've packaged the required app sig2dat in case it's hard to find.

Ironically, the test page that I generated to show what this app can do is the most popular page here. Hurray for internet piracy, right?

In my senior year of high school, I had set a goal to take over the school's video news program and make it not suck. People rightfully stepped aside as I owned the project. This first episode of the second semester of that year was almost completely edited by me. I had even managed to slip in an NIN track called "Burn" for the intro sequence. This part took an especially long time to do since the school only had an iMac for video editing (god damn you, Macs, with your single mouse buttons!). The actual news portion is pretty bland, but the "entertainment special" is rather funny. It features the poetic stylings of the oft-mentioned Gandalf the Cock. The credit music was not my idea. When I was getting close to completing this episode, people started weighing in with their two cents and coerced me into using "black music". I'm not being particularly racist here, as all the black people did indeed want it. However, as a whole, I'd accomplished my goal of making NNN not suck.

This is just a pack of waypoints for use with the popular bot for vanilla Counter-Strike, PODBot. One year while I was on a CS trip, I found it a fun challenge to lay out waypoints on some maps that either didn't have any or the ones they had were shitty.
