This is the complete original Deus Ex soundtrack which I have converted to VBR MP3 format. I did this compilation because the official soundtrack is missing a large number of tracks, and some of those that are present are not the same versions from the original game (probably closer to the PS2 versions).

This is the complete original Deus Ex soundtrack which I have converted to VBR MP3 format. I did this compilation because the official soundtrack is missing a large number of tracks, and some of those that are present are not the same versions from the original game (probably closer to the PS2 versions).

But this isn't just a straight MOD-to-MP3 rip. I have also resampled any noticeably poor quality samples (e.g. hissing, distortions, pops) and arranged the tracks for mostly correct pattern order and also aurally pleasing order. Finally, I recorded the MODs to lossless PCM and then VBR (-V 4) MP3 using Lame. Files are named such that they are in chronological game order.

This is a remix of the Quiet Mix of Trent Reznor's "Hurt". I didn't think it was quiet enough. With graphic equalizing, dynamic range compressing, and some other filters, I brought out the vocals and minimized the hard drum and guitar hits. This finally makes Hurt a song you can listen to before bed. The screenshots show the differences between the two versions.

I also finally got the sound encoding right and added credits. The whole mood of this one is rather pretty and lighthearted. Like the others, this video is sequenced to music. Also like the others, I chose music by Darkhalo; this track is called "Fantasy Wind 2" (an edited version by me). I'm really proud of this video, and it's one of my favorite works.

This one is a remix of a track from Hitman 2 that plays during the snow environment missions. It's a really surreal track with awesome percussion backing up the Hitman style. I cut it down and added small layering touches to some of the dryer parts. Jesper Kyd is the original composer. Check out his site for more tracks.

I recall watching the suckage that is this episode being made in Publications class whilst doing nothing but relaxing all period and talking about chicks and sammiches with Danky. Good times. My only contribution to this episode was the "Remembering Columbine" story. In two days, I put together what many people were calling the coolest part of the episode. Well, as cool as school shootings can be.

In my second venture into high school news editing, I started with a simple intro idea with an old and new version of a song (Mrs. Robinson, though not for any implicit reason) over black and white and then color video clips played at a high framerate. This didn't bother certain administrators as much as my Burn intro. Some of the news stuff is kinda interesting, but the interview with the principal is obviously just filler. Generally, all of this episode was edited by me (even the preview for the faggot car thing). This is actually the "Uncut" version of the episode, as of course, they didn't let us use the "Computer Upgrade" segment. That was done in my back yard with Danky and Loogie "upgrading" and me filming. This one is compressed with Quicktime because that's the only decent format we could get the gayMac to export to.
