This makes ranged shock damage spells travel at lightning speed. I made this mod because I thought it sucked that the shock spells looked more like a sneeze than a lightning bolt. This mod makes the lightning projectile about six times faster, meaning it can go about 100m in a second. So it's not quite lightning speed, but if it was set any higher, you wouldn't see the bolt at all.

This makes ranged shock damage spells travel at lightning speed. I made this mod because I thought it sucked that the shock spells looked more like a sneeze than a lightning bolt. This mod makes the lightning projectile about six times faster, meaning it can go about 100m in a second. So it's not quite lightning speed, but if it was set any higher, you wouldn't see the bolt at all.

This obviously means that you won't be able to dodge the shock damage bolts. To balance that fact out, I made all shock damage spells cost 20% more magicka. This was preferable to lowering the damage of all ranged shock damage spells in the game, which wouldn't affect other mods with shock spells anyways.

Since the shock damage spells still looked like sneezes, albeit fast sneezes, I also spent some time modifying the visual effects. The bolt effect is based off of Vortex's Shock Animation Change mod, which has a single blue-ish bolt. I made the bolt about eight times longer, though. Additionally, I changed the stock hit shader to have more of the shock texture and fewer, faster particles.

Short Version

In version 1.1, a vastly updated version of mrflippy's Lightning Strikes mod was included because it is now much prettier with this lightning mod. The mod is included as a separate plugin, so the user can decide whether they want to use it or not. See the included readme for more information on that mod.

This app was born out of my frustration with Servant Salamander's half-assed file list utility that wouldn't traverse subdirectories. I needed a list of files from a directory with over 300 subdirectories, so I sure as hell wasn't going to do each directory individually. Like some applications I've done before, this one has been beefed up more than what I originally required of it and is thus the perfect addition to one's utility program toolbox.

File Lister is an advanced-user tool for making lists of files that can be worked with in other applications, such as file comparators or batch commands. It can also be used for simply indexing files for sharing or such. It offers the following major features:

Description:
RoN Script Maker is a tool for use with Rise of Nations and its expansion (Thrones and Patriots) that seeks to make implementing scripts in games of RON simple and intuitive. It's worth mentioning that this program was designed for making scripts to be used in Quick Matches and Multiplayer, and not scenario building. So, basically, this is all for fun, giving you more control over your game setups while adding some spice at the same time.

• The ability to easily disable all units, buildings, and techs available in RON and RON:TP.
  
• Preresearching of units, buildings, and techs.
  
• Editing of unit and building stats. (RoN: Health and Build Time. TP: Armor, Attack, Min/Max Range, Line-of-Sight, Speed, and Max Craft.)
  
• Additionally, you can disable AI, plunder, attrition (TP only), costs, completion bonuses, etc.
• You can change amount of plunder (TP only) and citizen idle times.

-XML reader added with MSXML DOM for getting unit stats from unitrules.xml. initially uses MSXML 4.0, may change to 1.0 for compatibility.

This is the complete original Deus Ex soundtrack which I have converted to VBR MP3 format. I did this compilation because the official soundtrack is missing a large number of tracks, and some of those that are present are not the same versions from the original game (probably closer to the PS2 versions).

This is the complete original Deus Ex soundtrack which I have converted to VBR MP3 format. I did this compilation because the official soundtrack is missing a large number of tracks, and some of those that are present are not the same versions from the original game (probably closer to the PS2 versions).

But this isn't just a straight MOD-to-MP3 rip. I have also resampled any noticeably poor quality samples (e.g. hissing, distortions, pops) and arranged the tracks for mostly correct pattern order and also aurally pleasing order. Finally, I recorded the MODs to lossless PCM and then VBR (-V 4) MP3 using Lame. Files are named such that they are in chronological game order.
