This is a screensaver that I made to fade to the desktop background upon the timeout of the Windows screensaver wait setting. Then, it will fade to black after a set time. Also has adjustable fading (which is really just a trick using WinXP's transparency effect) and mouse sensitivity. This is all in theory though, as it appears that WinXP doesn't like VB screensavers. I've tried a few workarounds but it always opens the screensaver minimized. Maybe later I will update this and finally fix it as well as add multimonitor support. The app runs fine as a regular app, though. Configuration is available by right-clicking on the scr file.

A mod for PsychoStats v2 (now defunct?) that shows the weapons for CS:S small enough that they fit comfortably on a single row. They include the weapon names as well.

This is a very simple app that I made in about an hour to show your Windows uptime. It has a mode for precision to the millisecond and can copy to clipboard or be minimized to display uptime in the taskbar. It also supports color schemes. This is a very simple app that I made in about an hour to show your Windows uptime. It has a mode for precision to the millisecond and can copy to clipboard or be minimized to display uptime in the taskbar. It also supports color schemes. Due to Windows limits, the default time query method won't work beyond 49 days and 17 hours. However, there is an additional method included for XP/NT that bypasses this limit. It should be compatible with all Windows versions (9x, NT, XP).

This modifies the game STALKER so you don't have to eat anymore. Personally, I see no gameplay value in forcing the player to eat every hour or so; it's just an annoyance.

ShellMPX is a frontend for my favorite MP3 player, SCMPX. Even though the author of SCMPX, S. Chiba, hasn't updated it since 1999, I still love SCMPX because it sounds great and is very very CPU and memory efficient. Typically, SCMPX needs less than 1% of the CPU and 2MB of memory. I love how it plays my MP3s because it has an effective graphic equalizer and removes the tingly sound on lower-bitrate files.

But since SCMPX is so old, it lacked some features that I was looking for in a complete music player. Obviously, I can't add support for other music formats, but what I did add was a simpler control interface, a hierarchial playlist list, alpha transparency, and process priority. The playlist list allows you to view all your music sorted by artist, album, year, genre, or however you want to do it. The play control interface is a lot less cluttered with functions that are more obvious, and it includes buttons for functions that the standard SCMPX GUI doesn't. Process priority allows you to set the base priority of the SCMPX process when the shell launches it; this fixes skipping that can occur since SCMPX reads and decodes the file continuously as it needs.

This package includes all the program files for SCMPX, the help files for SCMPX, ShellMPX, and all the required files. I consider ShellMPX to be pretty straightfoward, so there's no documentation except tooltips included for it.

I was so fascinated by the last 40 seconds of the Shawshank Redemption title track that I did this extended mix. It has harp in the background and flowing strings on melody. But then I added some of my own touches to make it even richer.

This app allows you to select two or more of your RoN mods and merge them together. This only works with mods that are qualified to be selected in the RoN Mods option in game setups (i.e. they have a subdirectory in .\mods and an info.xml file in that). At this time, whether or not the merge works correctly is still hit or miss. Also, it only works with RoN:TP for the time being.

It features...
-Merging of two or more qualified mods.
-Merged mod is also qualified and selectable in the RoN game setup.
-Outputs a log file for every merge that shows errors and comparison inequalities.
-Easy-to-use GUI.

This is a program that will take a Motherboard Monitor (definitely works for 5.3.3.0) High/Low log in CSV format, parse it, and output a properly formatted CSV file with only data in individual columns and each reading on a different row, suitable for import into a spreadsheet. This program was used to support a column I did on PC air cooling, found here. Source code is included so you can modify it to suit your needs if necessary. It was made using Windows XP and JDK 1.5.

Almost a year after the first, I did another snow video. I was a bit lazy that day, though, so I only managed to get evening shots. It's a little rough in retrospect.
