This is a quick program I made to remove log entries from this site's AXS logs, but it should also work with most other log formats. It's meant to remove a line from a text file if it matches the regular expression provided. You give it an input file and output file, and it'll complete the search and copy in a relatively short time (50mb in ~5 secs). It also can just check to see if there are any matches without the copying. I used .NET because it has good built-in regex support and file IO performance.

The third installment to my snow videos is noticeably better. I switched editing software and did some things during filming that can't be done in editing. I also finally got the sound encoding right and added credits. The whole mood of this one is rather pretty and lighthearted. Like the others, this video is sequenced to music. Also like the others, I chose music by Darkhalo; this track is called "Fantasy Wind 2" (an edited version by me). I'm really proud of this video, and it's one of my favorite works.

This one is a remix of a track from Hitman 2 that plays during the snow environment missions. It's a really surreal track with awesome percussion backing up the Hitman style. I cut it down and added small layering touches to some of the dryer parts. Jesper Kyd is the original composer. Check out his site for more tracks.

So, this mod allows you to train Chinese units individually as with the other civs. In addition, all Home City cards affecting Banner Armies have been modified to affect their respective individual units. This is a remix of the Quiet Mix of Trent Reznor's "Hurt". I didn't think it was quiet enough. With graphic equalizing, dynamic range compressing, and some other filters, I brought out the vocals and minimized the hard drum and guitar hits. This finally makes Hurt a song you can listen to before bed. The screenshots show the differences between the two versions.

This is a 3D sound demonstration app that was originally a DirectX 9 SDK sample. However, all Microsoft's example did was open one sound and spin it around the listener. I added the abiltiy to have multiple sounds placed anywhere in a 2D soundscape. It also allows the user to move the listener around in the soundscape as they would a video game. My greatest ambition for this program was to make it a sound engine for a video game set completely in the dark (hence the name), except for a scanner remniscent of the one from Aliens. However, that's far off from what I have now. For the final version, I just want to have ogg/mp3 file support and a DirectX effects editor for every loaded sound.

The source and some starter sounds are included in this release. The program is probably good for testing surround sound speakers, as well.
