This is a very simple app that I made in about an hour to show your Windows uptime. It has a mode for precision to the millisecond and can copy to clipboard or be minimized to display uptime in the taskbar. It also supports color schemes. Due to Windows limits, the default time query method won't work beyond 49 days and 17 hours. However, there is an additional method included for XP/NT that bypasses this limit. It should be compatible with all Windows versions (9x, NT, XP).

This is a very simple app that I coded in one day because I was tired of trying to remember all the connection data rates and doing 6 steps in a calculator to figure out how long it would take to transfer some data. You can select from predefined data rates in the list or select "Custom" to enter your own. Then you enter the amount of data you want to transfer. Remember that a uppercase B means bytes and a lowercase b means bits. The calculator updates the time it will take to transfer in real-time. You can also change the unit of time displayed and copy all of this to the clipboard. It'll look like this: 11KB at 53Kb/s (56K Modem) will take 1.66 Seconds

To use them, simply extract the two pk3 files to your \Quake III Arena\baseq3 directory and then select the bots Snake and Loogie from the list in-game.

This scenario originally began in hopes that it could be entered into the RoN Heaven "Napoleonic Era Scenario Design Contest" of Feb. 2004. I spent many days just setting up the scenario based on historical records and maps. Everything was as historically accurate as is possible in RoN. But then I realized that the AI could not handle the scenario nearly effective enough, and I didn't have enough time left in the contest to do my own AI script.

I decided to finish up the scenario for multiplayer. I spent another few days working on the script and order of battle. Then, when the scenario was finally looking complete, I went to test it in multiplayer. But to my dismay, many of the script features that made the singleplayer experience unique didn't work at all in multiplayer. Totally pissed off, I gave up.

I shouldn't have given up, though, because the scenario is still excellent. The version presented here is a revival of the scenario with a reworked script so that maybe a few people can see what could have been.

After you've extracted the script to your scenario directory, you'll notice that there are two scenario files. Austerlitz is the original scenario with the full script and AusterlitzMP is a multiplayer version with all the defunct scripting disabled.

The singleplayer version has no AI. It is basically a sandbox for you to try out the scenario's features. However, you can play against yourself if you like. To switch sides, just click a unit or building controlled by the opposite player.

The multiplayer version will allow you to play against one person (or the AI, but I wouldn't recommend it). The host will be French (Napoleon) and the other player will be Russian (Allies).

I get totally excited every time the forecast is wintery precipication. But once, this excitement, coupled with the excitement of my new TV Card, was so great that I just had to get the snow on tape. I, of course, imported the video to the computer to make it worthwhile (where the TV Card came in handy). I had the perfect music track all lined up (Darkhalo's "Reason No Ten-Nen Sui") and edited the video in sequence to it. This is the result. By the way, the zooming in and out of the video was an attempt to keep the file size down. I don't know if it helped much.

Merchants also got a stat increase to make them more robust given that the rares are more desireable. In the second version of this mod, I added the rares from the T&P Expansion CTW Campaigns. However, those rares were all missing 3D art. I made my own art for some of them, but others either look like vanilla rares or just an icon.
