Better Water
This mod makes being underwater feel more like real water. The mod also makes it easier for the player to escape the water. Just jump (“swim”) up to reach the surface. The jetpack also works better for flying out of water. Don’t get stuck crawling over to the exit ramp again!
Changes
- Tweaked the physics variables applied to the player when they enter the underwater state so that there’s:
- Much less gravity. There’s no swim downward key in this game, so sinking is the only way to reach the bottom.
- The player can jump really high (to simulate swimming upwards).
- Just generally make the water feel more “floaty”.
- Jumping into the water now slows your descent. Previously, water just made a splash and that was it.
- Jumping out of the water now resets the takeoff height for the jetpack to make it much easier to get out of the water.

No Blueprint Dialog Auto-Close
This mod just makes it so that the blueprint purchase dialog doesn’t awkwardly close every time you buy something (unlike every other dialog in the game).

Jetpack Low Energy
This mod adds a warning sound whenever your jetpack energy gets below a certain threshold of seconds remaining. The sound will play whenever the player is already flying, starting to fly with low energy, or failing to fly with no energy. This should help the player either abort a take-off or seek a safe place to land so that they don’t end up in the Slime Sea.
This is considered an alpha release. The mod should function but needs additional testing and may need more tweaking. I’d also like to add more warning sounds to choose from and possibly a sound for “energy full” as well.
