Being the master of all things that I am 😉 , I’ve done some graphics by heavily filtering/mixing the very colorful glue-swirl.jpg, seen here. It’s quite amazing how different hues totally change an image. You’re welcome to use them as wallpapers, but be warned that they lost some quality when going to the JPEG format.

The first image is a lot of mixing hues (HSL) with a textured block pattern over it. Looks really sweet, albeit a bit busy. The second image is a merged differance layer of glue-swirl and the first image. Simple, but a great effect. The final image is my favorite. It’s themed to Nine Inch Nails’ song, Downward Spiral. It’s mostly a hue mix of the second image (Biometric Distortion) with a veiny wrinkle-like texture; looks like a heap of dead/bruised flesh. Then, I started with some specific effects, the center is a luminance layer with light effects. Also on that layer were the parallel slivers, text, and the tiny little hole and fluids “spilling out of my head”. 😮
Gotta love NIN. Enjoy the wallpapers.
