I just got Infiltration today, and all I can say is that it rocks back to last year! After playing a few hours at Que’s pad yesterday I got hooked. Look for me on the SOBServers as [S&L]Gr-Dragon (or as [TFR]Gr-Dragon if we can get Snake to change the freaking clan name). [Chief Note: Good Luck]

Was just looking over a preview of the new VIA DDR chipset for Pentium 4’s. I think the flow chart they had says it all:

I was looking through my backup cds today and found some really cool screenshots from back in the day. Back in the day when I ran Half-Life in Software-Render, you could be proud to be a HPW, KeysDigitals TFC was a popular server, and we hardly knew Quelog. LOWTeK was the best Sniper to ever connect to KeysDigitals back then, so this game meant a lot to me:

The best online fun now can be had playing Infiltration (for myself), but it’ll never live up to back last summer when we owned TFC.

Well, I’m back from an incredibly long “vacation”. I should have CS back on my system soon, but I first need to catch up on some things (I hardly even know what’s happened around here).

This time, even though I don’t want it to be, the visitor of the week is the person with the BellSouth DSL. The MOD Database is operational and we are working hard to reinsert everything. The link in the Navigation has been switch to the new database, now.

I feel like such a disgrace for not getting Quake II earlier, like 4 years earlier. I guess I wasn’t ready to frag until Half-Life came along. As you can assume, it did actually come today. I’ve been playing it since I woke up (3pm) with only a few bathroom breaks, a food break, and an hour trying to find and download the patches (no one has a working link to an FTP site to download the EAX patch). Currently, I just busted up “The Big Gun” playing on medium skill. So, I guess there’s about 2 more units left. Then, I go back and play on hard.

As budget gamers, we must appreciate a game that came to our possession in mint condition and retail quality. The last game I got in the retail box was The Sims, and I don’t even play it anymore (my sister does, though).

When I took the pictures of the Q2 stuff, I also got several of the new kitten I have. I called it McNugget. This has probably got to be the cutest thing I’ve seen in a while, so…enjoy!
