Over the past 2 weeks, our attitude here has shifted away from the negative side and we’re looking towards the future. Some assholes are always trying to bring us down, they have no respect or pride. I’m sorry assholes, this is S&L and we may be brought down for short periods of time, but afterwards we gained even more knowledge and continue to exist. (Run along you assholes and go fuck other men, cause you’re not fucking us…damn fags.) We have been affiliated with the clan scene for a while (almost a year), and we’ve seen tons of new clans come up and disappear suddenly…take CoS for example, they were a prominent group of experienced players. That was their only real link, they were almost all pricks to us (Vercon, you’re still cool…I guess) and now look where it got them. No where…good for them. S&L…Always…Perfection (…suck it down assholes).
That was my rant, now for da .plan bidness. Loog’s big shit (with varying amounts of annoyance mixed in) is April’s Column. I’m trying to keep him on task here, thinking realistically. This may or may not generate local attention to the site. And, if it does, that would bring me to the next big thing:
Hey, enough of the work crap, though! Quedog is getting DSL! It’s set to be sometime in mid-May and I’ll let Que post news on the specifics. More than anything else for 6 months, we’ve wanted a server for online games. Then, “Out of the Blue”, her comes Que talking nonchalantly about getting bandwidth that would make Snake wet himself. We played around with initial ideas on how this would work out, nothing to release at the moment. There will probably be a player limit of 8 to 12 (depending on if Quedog is running dedicated or playing at the same time). And, if you’re wondering how the hell Que’s K6 is gonna handle even 4 players, he will be upgrading to a 1Ghz Athlon T-Bird (probably 200Mhz FSB) backed by the goodness of Abit’s KT7A. He’s still got a lot of upgrading to do on the Scorpion, but it will probably be Scorp2 (given the fact that we would usually rename our PCs after the core motherboard/processor upgrade).
Ahh, shit…I’m rambling now. Probably best that I shut up now before I start giving out secret S&L propaganda. I was thinking of scanning my cloud project for March’s Column, just because. I need to play a FPS, now…haven’t all day. Hold onto your seats, faithful 11 visitors!
