Quelog and I engaged in some huge LAN gaming carnage today. We played a few hours of CS with POD-Bot, and a few rounds of 1 on 1 ka_arena (the ultimate knife fighting map). We stacked the teams more than two to one against us (11 against the 2 of us and 3 friendly bots), but amazingly came out on top most of the time (POD Bots are way too good, so we had it set to jasonmode (knives only) or sniper mode most of the time). I’ll get some pics up soon.

I just spent 4 hours tracking, which was the only time I’ve seriously tracked in 8 months (besides remixing some Deus Ex music). I wanna share what I’ve done on this MOD so far. It’s kinda in the style of LateBreak, which I like. Download it below, drag the ZIP into ModPlug Player, and tell me what you think, cause I’m just dying to know.

This bot for Counter-Strike, POD-Bot, rules! Tired of waiting for the next Realbot and tired of the current verson, I tried out the new version of Ping of Death Bot (2.5). I was and still am amazed. On Inferno, the T’s rush just as online. On Assault, both teams use the vent. And you can actually play Militia…the CT’s will even go right for the hostages. I even saw a bot running around on a roof in Italy.

Aside from being a “Real” bot, there’s ton of nifty features: fun modes, knives-only, in-game menus, shit loads of others, and my favorite thing…bot chatting. Here’s a little collage I made:

Also, I played a really phat TC for Doom][ the other day, it’s called Osiris. Turns the rocket launcher into a flamethrower…awesome. You can pick it up at CDROM.COM Tis about 2 megs.

I lost touch with the JDoom news until last night. The new (final?) release is out and looks awesome. What even suprised me is that my old Marines TC runs on it. Looking absolutely remarkable, it has inspired me to maybe work on Marines again, but this time, I will create a specialized version for JDoom and Legacy. JDoom has a few minor issues that Legacy would not have with Marines. Here’s a screenshot that is perhaps not the best I could have captured, but looks cool nonetheless:

I just got Infiltration today, and all I can say is that it rocks back to last year! After playing a few hours at Que’s pad yesterday I got hooked. Look for me on the SOBServers as [S&L]Gr-Dragon (or as [TFR]Gr-Dragon if we can get Snake to change the freaking clan name). [Chief Note: Good Luck]
