Was just looking over a preview of the new VIA DDR chipset for Pentium 4’s. I think the flow chart they had says it all:

Can it be true? Even more S&L game news? Thats right, bitches! Snake and I just played through episode one of Doom- the entire thing (well, except for the secret level,) on Ultra Violence. It took us about an hour and ten minuites to do it. What a blast! Its been awhile since we doomed it up, and these new rigs and my DSL connection really spiffified things. The only other time S&L played through the entire first episode was when Snake and Loog did it a few years ago. It took em about two and a half hours!

And also, this is the first time Quelog ever made two news posts in a row! This is made possible by the new CGI system. ‘Grats to the Chief! [Chief’s Note: TY, TY!]

Looks like we sorta had a mini-surge here in AZ! I went over to GRs house today after school to hang out, and we ended up playing a lan game. It wasnt much of a deal to set up, because they have 3 PCs in this loft area, all routed through a hub.. or something.. i dont know much about networking. Anyways, we played CS for several hours. No bots- we played eachother. We mostly played on Dust and Aztec, finishing the night with a scout match on Militia. For the most part, GR was ahead, but thats only because he was on his home turf, and had had 3 or so hours warming up with his little brother. That PC they had me on had a funky-ass desk and stuff! Oh, yeh, and only 2 of the PCs had CS installed, so it was all 1/1. Well.. i guess thats it. Rock on, bitches!

I was looking through my backup cds today and found some really cool screenshots from back in the day. Back in the day when I ran Half-Life in Software-Render, you could be proud to be a HPW, KeysDigitals TFC was a popular server, and we hardly knew Quelog. LOWTeK was the best Sniper to ever connect to KeysDigitals back then, so this game meant a lot to me:

The best online fun now can be had playing Infiltration (for myself), but it’ll never live up to back last summer when we owned TFC.

Well, I’m back from an incredibly long “vacation”. I should have CS back on my system soon, but I first need to catch up on some things (I hardly even know what’s happened around here).
