Phatty!!! This is beta1 of S&L Times. I’m gonna see how I like this design layout, maybe make some improvements and then build a beta2. Beta2 will probably be a remake of this layout only with a base resolution of 1280×1024, instead of 800×600. I apologize for the weirdness that you may see at higher res, but I needed a quick model so I could tell what I was capable of (if that makes any sense). Hopefully, we can get back into the gaming goodness by the end of winter. I’m looking forward to this new frame design at S&L. Notice how Loog never helps me with this stuff? Yeh, me too. Maybe it’s because he’s making a kick ass December Column, but I doubt it, since he just called me a few hours ago saying that he fucked his mouse up. Will Snake have to fix “The Wad” for Loogie? Most likely. Arrr.

So, no telling what it’s gonna be, but he seems hopeful to work on it a lot (Snake has doubts, though). Look for at least an index by, oh…say, next month.

Loog and myself are gonna be working on a redesign to this page. If possible, we’d like to get a script that reads the users resolution and load the right page for it. Of course, it would be a bitch to update two of the same page twice for 800×600 and 1024×768, so we might have to scratch that idea. If we can’t get anything like that to work, then this page will be almost as ungraphical as now. Probably will opt for some kinda nav applet. All for now. Loog is working hard on December’s Column, looking foward to seeing how his first one turns out.

Ok, today sucked ass!!! First off, Loog messed his week old pc up; never download the “EyeDog” critical update from Microsoft Update, unless you don’t wanna use your browser again. And WTF happened to our counters! And where the fuck is Quedog at today. Damnit, we were supposed to get 6 inches or more of snow today, but we haven’t even gotten any yet. Stupid-ass forecasters, why don’t they let Snake use their computers for gaming instead of weather forecasting (cause they obviously don’t work too well for that)? Well, besides the mountain of shit that’s been thrown at me today, I did get some work done on the site. I added a cool transition effect from the Logo Page, and optimized the photo album (saving us about 300kb, photo quality is still pretty good, though), and I actually added a demo to the DEMOBOARD. Why does everyone but me have to suck ass so much? Well, I guess that’s why I’m the “High Master”. Time to play a little Doom and sleep.

Arg, I got 2 1/2 hours of sleep last night. Luckily, I caught a nap in SpanishII for about an hour. The reason for this was that I was finishing up my MOD Archive version of “Whispers of Nature”. Ahhh, aureal pleasure. I’d give it a 8, maybe 9. I added guitar and frets to the end and fixed some transitions. A lot smoother flowing, go pick it up in the new uploads section at MODA. It’s on today’s date. Also, turns out that Loog didn’t have a “EyeDog” prob after all, but since I had problems with it, I’d advise you still not to get it. I might convince Que to do some news for us, at times. Maybe some TFC later, today. Who knows…
