Oh, and I forgot to mention, I beat Deus Ex for the 3rd time on Wednesday. Now, I’m playing through Unreal. I never remember it being this unstable in Software Rendering. 😕 I crashed out of it once and another time the screen went garbled. Oh well, I guess I can stand a little fuck up. Deus, though…spotless; especially in 32-bit.

Anyways, I got it back and did a lot of work on the site in the last 4 hours. Mainly, the links section is working 100% now. I had said that I would redo the links section since before we even came to S–L.com, but never found the need to really do it. So, there it is and it’s badass. Have fun.

I added two new pics to the Photo Album and fixed some target bugs. Um, yeh…that’s all I did to that. 😛

Yesterday, I was watching this movie on HBO called Zebra Lounge, cause I wanted to catch some titties. 8) During the credits there was some phat mother fucker music which happened to be by some chick called Judith Owen. Anyways, I ordered her CD because that shit was so schweet. This week, I’ve felt as if I could listen to any music and enjoy it(except for country, rap, and r&b, I don’t do that nig/neck shit), from Metallica to Nine Inch Nails and even chick music like Sheryl Crow and Judith Owen.

• The gHeTTo Lockup Catastrophe (also known as Driver Catastrophe) has been fixed. I’m not exactly sure what it was, but I formatted (and just had to format yet again, cause my 2ndary HDD went bad), and now everything’s fine. Video driver conflict was probably why.
• I have been benching my new GeForce2 a lot lately, and met a breakthrough! I kept scoring around 2200, 2300 marks in 3DMark ’00… but then I set my card to allow applications to adjust AntiAliasing mode… and my highest w/ max overclocking is 6155. • I’ll just throw everything else in here: w/ the new MBM, I get accurate readings on everything, and my heat’s a little lower now for some reason (insert note about G-Cock here, Snake); SOF ownz on my GF2; my printer died, as did my CD-RW; I just got my new “Micron” RAM… it works fine in CL2/Medium, but in Fast or Turbo, Windows doesn’t finish loading 😡 ; do u want my old Kingston 256MB RAM? I just now redid the POTM (Picture of the Month) to use the new image gallery system. It works very well, I think, and doesn’t use fantastically weird buttons, mouseovers, and iframes. The descriptions are only on the large image page cause there wasn’t enough space on the thumbnail page. Anyways, there it is in the navigation to the left as always.

I’ve also started (or nearly finished) the new templates for the image gallery script. They match the current setup of the site very well. I hope I don’t suddenly get the idea to change the GUI soon, now that everything uses the Fire/Brimstone motif. The next time I plan on redoing the Graphical User Interface and Cascading Style Sheets will be for Christmas; lights, tinsel, and ornaments strung around…pretty nift.

But, the big news is what I did today with this new “free” cgi script called ImageFolio. I totally redid the Photo Album as that appears to be our most popular feature with 98 hits in two months. That’s ten more than the Columns index. The site as a whole got 2000, though (not counting any of the staff, cause we aren’t logged [cept for that idiot, Gr-Dragon, cause he never turned his cookie on]). Anyways, it looks really l337, especially with the new pic of Tyler (I’ll let you find that on your own). Gandalf informed me that this shit can even do slideshows. So, make haste and click the Photo Album button on the navigation frame, llamas! 😡

Yea, Its been awhile since ive posted, so i figured i could just mention some computer stuff thats been goin on for me and Gr-Dragon at school. I guess it kinda relates to S&L. Besides, you all love my marvellous posts, and it’ll help keep Snake off my back about my columns

It’s all got to do with the A+ class we’re taken, known as the STRUT program (STudents Recycling Used Technology.) Long story short: its a class to prepare for the A+ Certification Exam. The skinny: we chill all day and play with computers. Whats been goin down is that today we went to a middle school (or something) to help these 7th and 8th graders assemble computers, for some learning reason. We were hand-picked (along with 3 other mofos) to go on this trip, because we’re “so fuggin good.” We got to miss 2nd hour (PE for both of us) and 4th hour (math for me, who knows/cares for Gr.) We pretty much just stood around and pointed things out and helped when they got stuck. Also saw a server room which was cool, and cool so that the things wouldnt get hot. [Chief Note: Oh, yeh…the things…very detailed, Que.] [Editors Note: Yeh, the things.. the servers, dumbass] [Chief Note: Shit, you could have been talking about 24-port hubs or switches for all I knew, bitch.]

The other thing is this virus at school. Several of the computers in the Media Center (library) are infected and “out of order.” Me and Gr wanted to check hyperiums accounts, so being lazy bitches, we decided to fix the damn things rather than wait around or try to get one from someone else. This relates to A+ because the virus is just like the “Orphan Bomb” virus created by some not alltogether uncool guys in A+ class. Gr went and asked the library bitch-squad about it and they were like “if you can fix em, thats great.” So we went to work. We needed a boot disk (the one he had on him [hey, hackers always carry one around, right? 😉 ] wouldnt work) so we just looked the computers over, and today actually got to work. It was pretty simple after a few mins of working and stuff, the autoexec or something had commands to delete the command directory and some other stuff, then loop “CHS Sucks!” A simple removal of those lines, and boom. Unfortunately, the key files were still deleted, so it wouldnt load windows. What kind of bastards fuck up the computers so that even their fellow techies can’t work on them? Maybe we’ll replace the files next week, but the dumbass school will probably reformat.

So, i guess the moral of the story is that.. err.. um… the moral is that.. that… that news posts don’t have to have morals, bitch!
