As promised, I did a short Column that explains the new Morpheus and how to maximize its effectiveness. Check it out here.

It’s only been 6 months, but Loog roasted his GF2 GTS by overtweaking it. Here’s a tip that Loog has dumbfoundedly proven to us: If you are gonna put RAM sinks on your card’s RAM chips, you have to put one on all of them. So, he got a GF4 *cough* MX POS *cough* *cough* on a whim. Then, he mods the POS before even popping it in; thus voiding the warranty. So, continuing in the ways of Loogie, his rig wouldn’t post when he finally put the GF4 in. And this is the point where he calls Snake. I told him to suck a fish…or some crap 😀 (I’m in the library, so I’ll have to omit the usual profanity). Now, his rig is up but the CPU is clocked at defaults (as you can see above). Also, he’s been pulling off some awesomely low temps recently…potentially from the decreased size of the video card. I still think he’s bullsh*tting, though. 😡 I’ll let him follow up on this card in his own post.
Moving on, I’ve been investigating the new version of Morpheus a lot, and am thinking about doing a short Column on how to get the most out of it. Should be int. If you know how to use it correctly, your pr0n and gamez collection should increase immensely. 😉 . Well, the bell rings in a few minutes, so I’m out. I’m gonna start this Column as soon as I get back to the Serpent and play some THREEWAVE!!! 8)

Just a few notes about some changes that have been made to the site. Expect the Win98 Tweak Guide to be available soon, too.
1. Fixed several issues with JavaScript compatibility in the top frame. Should work well with IE 4.0 and newer, now.
2. Added temperature readouts to the top frame. Why? Because nobody else has done it…I’m pionerring, damnit. It’s kinda int, too. 8) Also, other vital rig statistics are available by mousing-over the temps.
3. More quotes in the top frame.
4. Searches for databases are more exact when used with the name only checkbox.
5. Glossary hit 100 terms this week.
6. Glossary terms have images for the categories which they are in.
7. Some other stuff that makes being an editor here easier…which is why you should email me about becoming a contributing editor or use this nifty form to be a DemoBoard reviewer. 😉
Seems that its been quite awhile since I’ve made a news post!
I’ve been having problems with Bastards lately.. such as with that Bastard game Medal of Honor. Don’t get me wrong.. its a great game. But it took me, like, days to get a site with good bandwidth for download (like, above 3k/s,) and even then i accidentally got the Multiplayer one instead of the Single Player one. So after i finally got the SP version, the goddamn thing crashed on startup every time. So i reinstalled it, and it was loading… sorta. It still crashed most of the time during loads, and kept on doing this thing where it didn’t let you use mouseaim because it kept the windows mouse in the game (it was a bug, you couldn’t move the cursor or anything,) and without the mouse, you cant quit… so it was always a restart (ctrl+alt+del didn’t work with the damn thing.) I cant exactly review it if it barely runs.. but ill give it a shot. That is, as soon as i can view Thumbnails on this site. Yep, that’s where the second Bastards come from… Sectorlink, our host, is a bunch of bastards. I get this error message from them about how i cant view thumbs because S&L is stealing bandwidth…. which it isn’t. So even after i go to the horrific process of registering for their forums, i cant even post for help! No permissions! Finally, i emailed them… and they didn’t ever fucking reply!!! Just like Bastard set number three, ocie.com, the site i got my GF2 from. As you may remember from a previous post, they were supposed to contact UPS about how i got ripped off for shipping cost… they replied only to tell me that was supposed to email a different address (at their same domain.) Bastards never replied.. even though i complained over and over.
Anyways, once i get this thumbnail thing worked out, ill be able to make posts with pics.. i plan on a ghet intake fan (no, not a copy of Snake‘s; mine is ghetto because it will use a fan i “liberated” from a school computer) and do those reviews im supposed to do.
And we played a clan TFC game the other night… Snake was laggin out so he quit, then i sent Gr to tell him that we were just gonna mess and not play seriously, but i had unwittingly locked him (Gr) out by activating password mode (it was an accident.. besides, its his own fault for not knowing the PW.) So me and loog hung out.. it was pretty lame, because he didn’t get any of what i was trying to do and say.
Rock on, my loyal bitches!!
8) I have 4 CD-ROM drives…sorta. I’ve been experimenting with this highly int app called DAEMON Tools 3.02 and what it does is emulates (pretends to be) a CD-ROM drive. You can have up to 4 of these “virtual drives” that can only run CD images. Of course, you make images with another nifty app, such as CloneCD. Then, you’re just boom. 😮 I’ve played music from an image, opened cd-check games with an image (AOK), played movies fron an image, and more. It’s quite swifty and I’m sure it would come in handy often; especially when I’m reinstalling app/game downloads from backup cds. I can merely write the whole disc to the HDD in 5mins and use the image whenever I need to install something. It’s also 10 times faster from the HDD.
Not to mention, this app has illegal purposes, such as opening downloaded image files from apps like Morpheus. I wouldn’t have any experience with these illegal uses, though, because I don’t have the bandwidth to be downloading 600MB images. Also, I pay for all my software! 😀 eeeeeeehehehehehe!!! Check it:

Most of the week, I’ve been working on a Delta Force 3 (or Land Warrior…or whatever) campaign. Not only did I make the traditional SP/COOP missions complete with objectives and hordes of enemies, but also, there are individual waypoints for every enemy AI group, sounds (ambient and radio), hoards of triggers (explosions, vehicles, etc), and most awesomely I made my own terrain. It’s a wonderful, intense 30mins of gaming, but still in beta. So, try it out and make sure to read the readme.

In between Delta Force, i’ve been getting down with some Threewave. I must say that a few days ago, I played the best game of Quake3 ever with the help of 3W and a little self-modding. I put Smartbomb by BT in place of one of the music files in pak0 and woah. That song is made to frag to. Here’s some screenage of the mad quaking I did.
